High Street Ashbourne are continuing to support the local community with High Street Ashbourne’s Community Fund, which aims to help local non-profit organisations.

This initiative was set up to enable community groups, charities or schools to apply for quick access funding to benefit people in the local area and the community who decides who will get the funding.

Once all entries are submitted, the judging panel will select the 10 finalists. They will be announced on Facebook and the public will be invited to vote for the most deserving cause. The project that gets the most votes will receive €1,500 with second prize of €1,000 and third €500.

Maybe you would like help to spruce up a community area or perhaps you need financial assistance to purchase new equipment. Whatever the need, High Street Ashbourne would like to hear about it. Groups can nominate themselves by completing the entry form and explain what they would like support for.

The closing date for nominations is Friday 17th May at 5pm.

All entries will be uploaded on Facebook on Friday 24th May leaving the public 1 week to get voting for the worthiest cause. Closing date for voting is Friday 31st May at 4pm.

Winners will be announced on Thursday 6th June.
